In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Third Free Story Addition
